DENVER — Nintendo’s tiny gaming console has been a giant hit, selling out almost instantly at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and many other retailers.

Best Buy is giving shoppers one last chance to buy the NES Classic Edition before the holidays.

The retailer is expecting “extremely limited stock” to go on sale on Dec. 20, Forbes Magazine reports. Forbes speculated the number of consoles available at each store might be “down in the single digits.”

The mini-NES Classic Edition will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at physical stores. It will not be available online.

The $60 device is a replica of the original NES system from 1985. It has 30 classic games built in and plugs into a high-definition TV using an included HDMI cable.
