ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA (NBC33) — A teacher in St. Landry Parish was arrested for allegedly showing his students movies that contained “nudity and profanity.”

According to WVLA, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that its agency became aware of the incident after a complaint was filed from a parent. We’re told a child told his mother that his teacher, Brandon C. Levier, 30, showed the class a movie with a “naked lady.” The child also said that the class had watched several movies that contained profanity.

“Our Juvenile Detectives immediately initiated an investigation and were successful with obtaining a search warrant for the home of Brandon C. Levier. Mr. Levier did admit to showing rated R movies to his students.”

Officials could not say what school Levier worked in, or the age of the students in the class. Levier is a resident of Opelousas.

Levier was arrested and charged with six counts of Exhibition of Material Harmful to Minors. His bond was set at $6,000.
