Suspect steals vehicle, crashes into Denver building, flees

DENVER -- The Denver Police Department could not find a suspect accused of stealing a vehicle, then crashing it into a nearby building on Saturday night.

It happened near West Mississippi Avenue and Irving Street about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

After crashing the car, the suspect bailed and set off on foot, police said. A perimeter was set up but no suspect was found.

Police said the vehicle was stolen after a party and that there were no injuries.
