A suspect who led a chase crashed at West 29th Avenue and Speer Boulevard on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016.

DENVER -- A man tried to ram a law enforcement officer then led a chase before crashing early Friday morning.

The incident involved a Thornton police officer, and the Colorado State Patrol and the Denver Police Department also joined in the chase of the suspect.

The pursuit began southbound on Broadway and wound through Pecos, Quivas and Zuni streets before the suspect crashed at West 29th Avenue and Speer Boulevard.

The suspect was taken into custody. There was no word on of there were any injuries.
