LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Students will head back to school in Estes Park Monday, as classes resume their normal schedules following last week’s damaging floods.
Estes Valley Schools sent a letter to parents, students and staff Saturday stating that all classes will resume at their normal times on Monday, September 23.
The letter states that the district is reopening for all students and staff who can safely and feasibly make it to school Monday. The letter reminds the community that it is unsafe and impractical to travel to if they are unable to, and that the health and welfare of students and staff are the district’s top priority.
Students will not be penalized if they can’t make it to school, according to the letter.
Times and route numbers for some bus routes have changed. You can visit www.estesschools.org to view the revised schedule of pick-up times. Students are asked to be at their bus stops at least five minutes before their scheduled pick-up time.
If you have any questions, you are asked to contact the school transportation office at (970) 577-0211 or email to email@example.com.
