DENVER -- Temperatures were in the upper 60s Saturday, with strong thunderstorms moving across the Front Range in the afternoon.

Greeley reported seeing some decent-sized hail, while winds picked up to 30 to 50 miles per hour across the plains.

The rain is expected to make its way out of the state Friday night, just in time for a dry and pleasant Mother's Day Sunday.

Highs will soar into the upper 70s with partly cloudy skies. The areas that would likely see rain would be in the mountains.

The warming trend continues into Monday with highs hitting the lower 80s!
