DENVER -- Every summer in Five Points, a softball game is played on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. at Sonny Lawson Park.  The players on this field  come from all walks of life and most of them are homeless.

"A lot of these people who I think would otherwise be considered as outcasts, most of them are very strong, they actually  have strong character, big hearts and they're very appreciative," said coach Joe Carabello, founder of the Homeless Diamond Softball Team.

Here is a story of how Carabello is making an impact in the homeless community with his love for the game.
