DENVER -- If you haven't cleared your sidewalk after the latest snowstorm, you might want to get on it.

The inspectors are out and in Denver, they're issuing $150 fines because it has been more than 24 hours since it last snowed.

If homeowners ignore the fine, it will go up to $500 then it will shoot up to $999.

Businesses have even less time to get rid of the snow. Their sidewalks must be cleared four hours after the snow stops falling.
