2 suspects arrested, one at large after robbery at Jefferson County liquor store

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — Two suspects were arrested and one remains at large after shots were fired following a robbery at a liquor store in the 9000 block of West Peakview Drive in Jefferson County on Friday morning, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.

As the suspects were leaving the scene, one of them shot at a witness who attempted to follow in another vehicle, the sheriff’s office said. The witness was not injured, officials said.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect’s vehicle was later located in the 3000 block of South Wyandott in Englewood.

Police arrested 21-year-old Antonio James Lujan and a juvenile suspect for their involvement in the robbery. They were arrested for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and misdemeanor theft, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office is still looking for 20-year-old Darren Michael Connolly.
