GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. -- Rescue crews were dispatched to a Greenwood Village home Wednesday afternoon after receiving reports that the roof had collapsed with two people inside.
South Metro Fire Rescue sent out a tweet saying firefighters were on scene at a residential roof collapse in Greenwood Village south of Orchard Road.

Spokeswoman Becky O'Guin confirmed that a call came in around 2:15 p.m. reporting a roof had caved in at 11 Windover Rd.
O'Guin said there was work being done to the roof at the time of the incident.
Firefighters were able to get the two occupants out of the home safely.
Investigators remained on scene to determine the cause of the roof buckling.
