Rollover accident closes left lane of SB I-25 south of Monument Hill

MONUMENT, Colo. — A rollover accident on southbound Interstate 25 south of Monument Hill closed the highway for cleanup, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The accident happened around 2 p.m. at mile marker 162 on southbound I-25.

Police did not have information as to how the accident happened, how many vehicles were involved and if any one was injured in the crash.

All lanes of southbound I-25 were closed at 2:30 p.m. Nearly an hour later, the interstate was back open with only a closure in the far left lane for cleanup.

Drivers in the area should expect delays.
