Rockies lose 6-4, Mariners sweep series

DENVER — Three weeks into May, the Mariners can barely wait for the middle of June. Interleague Play has been very good to the Mariners, as they leave Colorado with a sweep in hand and look forward to resuming play against the National League next month.

The Mariners continued firing on all cylinders Sunday, getting a strong starting effort from Blake Beavan and plenty of power on offense in a 6-4 victory. They came into Colorado with a 4-7 record in the Mile High City, having not won a road game with the Rockies in 11 years. MORE>>>
