Rock climber falls 30 feet at Horsetooth Reservoir

A rock climber suffered serious injuries Monday after falling about 30 feet at Horsetooth Reservoir, according to the Poudre Fire Authority.

Rescue officials were preparing to airlift him to a hospital via helicopter around 3:50 p.m., according to public information officer Michael Durkin.

Durkin said the extent of his injuries were unclear.
