FOUNTAIN, Colo. — A robber fired a gun while robbing a man in Fountain, Colo. on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Officers were called to Biscuit’s Café on South Santa Fe Avenue around 1:45 p.m. on a report of gunfire, said police spokesman Cpl. Marshall Trujillo.

Investigators found that two men in a Nissan Murano robbed another man in front of the café. During the robbery, the passenger of the Murano fired a gun twice, Trujillo said.

Police found two bullet casings near dimples in the sidewalk where the bullets hit the concrete, Trujillo said.

No good description of the robbers was given. Trujillo said the driver was Caucasian and the passenger was African American.

No injuries were reported.
