Residents of East Colfax motel say they’ll be homeless after rate increase

AURORA, Colo. — Dozens of families in Aurora say they will be homeless by the end of the week.

That’s after a new owner took over the Kings Inn Motel on East Colfax Avenue and immediately raised rates.

People who were living there complained they were given little notice on the higher rates.
