DENVER -- After being married for more than three decades, Michelle and James Denny are facing the biggest challenge of all: James is in need of a lung transplant.

Someone stole their car, along with their crucial oxygen tanks, leaving them with no way to get to doctor’s appointments or rush to hospital if James is chosen to receive his life saving transplant.

"if I don`t get it I`ll die," he said.

After seeing a FOX31 Problem Solvers story, a good Samaritan who insisted on remaining anonymous reached out to donate his BMW.

It is a wagon-style vehicle that can accommodate the oxygen tanks the Dennys must carry with them at all times.

The team at The Sharpest Rides dealership in Englewood quickly stepped in to donate services, checking out the vehicle. Cervantes Wheels and Tires arranged to donate new tires for the couple.

“Bad things happen to good people and we wanted to be part of  the solution," The Sharpest Rides general manager Robert Lip said.

James Denny was too ill to go outside to see the new vehicle, but he had a look of amazement in his eyes when he saw a picture.

“That is beautiful, thank you so much it's going to fit all of our stuff," he said.
