DENVER --   Denver Police Chief, Robert White, joined the community gathering in support of John Adsit.

Adsit is recovering from being hit by a car during the East High Protest.

Officer Adsit's family released a statement:

We are honored that so many of you would join us today to continue to pray for John for a complete and full recovery from the top of his head to the soles of his feet,  and for continued prayers for his strength as he faces more surgery and the rehabilitation that lies ahead.

The cards, gifts, support and thousands of blue lights on until John comes home have been overwhelming. We are so excited to be able to share and encourage John with all the love and support that is being poured out. We are so grateful for your prayers in support of our HERO!

A GoFundMe page has been set up for John Adsit's family.
