DENVER – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a burned body in the Montbello neighborhood early Sunday.

Officers and paramedics responded to the call just before 5:30 a.m. in the area of Andrews Drive and East Elgin Place. The Denver Police Department said the victim is a black male. No other information about the victim was released.

Police said the cause of death will be pending an autopsy report from the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.

Anyone with information on the identity of the victim or information surrounding the death is asked to call Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
