DENVER -- Hillary Clinton was in Colorado for three fundraisers and what is being termed a grass-roots organizing meeting Tuesday.
The "Commit to Vote" event with the Democratic presidential candidate took place Tuesday evening at La Rumba (99 West Ninth Avenue).
According to a news release, this was Clinton's first non-early state organizing event of the campaign.
Clinton had two fundraisers in Denver and one in Aspen, again showing how important Colorado will be in the upcoming election.
Clinton and volunteers gathered at the event at La Rumba asked supporters to fill out a "Commit to Vote" card, pledging to vote for Clinton in the Colorado caucuses on Super Tuesday, March 1.
But the trip is more about money. From April to June, Clinton raised close to $500,000 in Colorado. That money came from 550 donors and the host for Tuesday's fundraisers have pledged to raise at least $50,000 for her campaign.
The minimum cost to attend one of Tuesday's events was $2,700.
