DENVER — Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper’s reelection campaign raised $420,588 during the last fundraising quarter of 2013, his campaign announced Wednesday night.

That brings the campaign’s total cash on hand number to $1,047,975.

“We appreciate the strong support from Coloradans across the state for our re-election campaign,” Hickenlooper said. “We are proud of our record of problem-solving by reaching across the aisle and getting work done. We look forward to more great work in 2014.”

For the second straight quarter, former Congressman Tom Tancredo leads the field of potential GOP challengers on the fundraising front.

Tancredo raised $191,985 in the final fundraising quarter of 2013, and has $109,174 on hand heading into primary season, according to his campaign.

Secretary of State Scott Gessler raised $123,512 in the fourth quarter and now has $114,195 cash on hand, the most of any Republican candidate.

Former Senate Minority Leader Mike Kopp raised $103,833 in the last fundraising quarter of 2013, according to financial reports filed Wednesday.

It was the first indication of Kopp’s fundraising ability after the candidate entered the race late enough in the third quarter that he wasn’t required to post a report.

On Twitter, Kopp thanked supporters for helping him reach his goal of $100,000.

A closer look at the candidate’s report shows that Kopp wouldn’t have hit that target if not for his own $8,217 personal check to his campaign.

State Sen. Greg Brophy, R-Wray, raised $51,595 in the fourth quarter, bringing his total cash on hand to $45,746.
