Police arrest suspect in Park Hill homicide

DENVER — Police arrested a man Friday wanted in a fatal shooting in the Park Hill neighborhood, the Denver Police Department said.

Police responded about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday to the 2600 block of Grape Street in the Park Hill neighborhood on reports of shots fired. Officers found a male outside the residence who was dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for 24- year-old Charles Porter III and arrested him Friday at West Colfax Avenue and Kalamath Street. He was being held for investigation of first-degree murder.
