Police seek suspect who beat 67-year-old man on roadside

WESTMINSTER, Colo. – Police were asking for help Sunday in finding a suspect believed to have badly beaten an older man in a suspected road rage incident.

About 8:40 a.m., Westminster police found a 67-year-old man laying in the middle of the street near 104th Avenue and Independence Street. He was hospitalized in critical condition.

Several witnesses in the area reported hearing an argument between at least two male parties shortly before the man was found. Police believe the victim was beaten in a road rage incident, the Westminster Police Department said.

WPD is asking for the public’s helping in identifying a male suspect associated with a white, older-model pick-up truck that was seen leaving the area.

Police are also trying to locate a female witness associated with a red car.
