DENVER — Numerous agencies cordoned off the area near 3550 S. Harlan St. Sunday evening as they searched for a dangerous suspect.

David Gosik, 34, was arrested without incident about 6:40 p.m., police reported.

He was considered armed and dangerous, the Denver Police Department said. He has been charged with numerous crimes including child abuse, property crimes and multiple counts of assault and violence.

Police do not believe he was involved in any new incidents Sunday, they said. They were simply trying to take him into custody for past charges.

The Pebble Creek Apartments near Harlan and Hampden Avenue were locked down, but no major street closures were reported.
