Police search for leads in months-old Aurora fatal stabbing

AURORA, Colo. — Police are seeking assistance after a fatal stabbing case remains unsolved.

The stabbing of 34-year-old Eriq Burrell happened April 29 in the area of East Iliff Avenue and South Xanadu Way, the Aurora Police Department said.

The call reporting the homicide came in about 5:20 p.m.

Despite attempts to save him, Burrell died at a hospital without identifying a suspect. Police still don’t have a suspect in mind and the case remains under investigation.
