Bullet goes into couch inside southwest Denver home in drive-by shooting

DENVER — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in which a bullet went into a couch inside a Denver home on Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of South Quitman Street after 3 a.m.

Police said a couple of rounds made it into a home in the neighborhood, including one that went through a wall and into a couch.

No one was injured and police did not say if the shooting was random or if the home was targeted.

The area was taped off at West Colorado Avenue and Quitman Street as police investigated.

Police have not released any suspect or vehicle information.
