ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — A 51-year-old man suffered a minor leg injury after his plane went down Sunday night near Strasburg, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said.
Responders found the plane upside down in a ditch southeast of Interstate 70 and Strasburg Road, and the pilot walking toward them.
The plane, a Piper J-3 Cub, went down about 7:45 p.m., officials said. The pilot was the only person on board.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
