DENVER — At least three people were hurt and one person was killed in three different incidents of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian Thursday night.

Two of the crashes happened in Denver. One happened in Commerce City.

The first incident happened at E. 74th Avenue and Brighton Road in Commerce City.

Police said a teen was crossing the street around 5 p.m. and was hit by a white truck and killed.

The driver stopped at the scene as was cooperating with investigators.  It’s believed no charges will be filed against the driver, police said.

The second Denver crash was at S. Federal Boulevard and W. Floyd Street around 6 p.m. Denver police said a pedestrian was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries there.

Initially police said the driver of that crash remained at the scene, but in a tweet later on said they were looking for a female driver of a white vehicle.

Neither person was seriously injured.  They were taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital for treatment, a spokesman said.

The SUV left the scene headed west on I-76, authorities said.  They are now looking for that vehicle.
