COLORADO SPRINGS — Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs back open following a lockdown Monday.
The hospital tweeted shortly before 1 p.m. that the lockdown had been lifted.
Penrose Hospital is no longer on lock down. There was a security concern. CSPD responded and the situation was resolved. Everyone is safe.

Officials have not confirmed what prompted the lockdown.
