Witnesses said the suspect ran over the man, then tried to carjack two more people in a landscaping truck at a 7-Eleven store.

Witnesses also said four men ran out of the store and held the suspect down until police arrived.

The name, age and gender of the victim were not released. The suspect was taken into custody, police said.

Havana was closed in both directions between East 45th Avenue and Smith Road. Both off-ramps to Havana Street from Interstate 70 were also closed.
