DENVER — A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a delivery truck while changing a tire on a major Denver interstate Monday morning.
Denver Police say the accident was reported around 1:30 a.m. on eastbound I-70, just west of Peoria Street.
The victim was reportedly changing a flat tire, and in the process of doing so, stepped in front of the vehicle and into oncoming traffic. At that point, police say the individual was hit by the delivery truck.
The gender and identity of the pedestrian were not released as of early Monday morning.
