DENVER — There is a new effort to learn more about possible health risks for people who lived downwind from the site of the former Rocky Flats nuclear weapons plant.

It closed in 1989 and many people who were employed there have reported work-related cancer.

An online survey is gathering data about health problems from people in Arvada, Westminster and Broomfield.
