Two U.S. Navy Submarines arrived at the North Pole on March 14 as part of Ice Excercise 2016 (ICEX 2016).

The submarines, the USS Hampton from San Diego and the USS Hartford from Groton, Conn., will conduct multiple Arctic transits.
