McLOUD, Okla. — Authorities in Oklahoma have arrested a 33-year-old man after they said he killed his stepfather by pulling the victim’s underwear up over his head and suffocating him.

According to KFOR-TV, Brad Lee Davis was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder.

The victim, Denver St. Clair, 58, was found dead in his home Dec. 21. Police said he had been in a fist fight with Davis.

When Davis knocked down St. Clair down, he “grabbed St. Clair’s underwear and gave him an ‘atomic wedgie,’” Davis’ arrest affidavit said.

Police said Davis admitted to hitting St. Clair several times and pulling the elastic waistband of St. Clair’s underwear over his head and around his neck.

The medical examiner said St. Clair died of blunt force trauma and asphyxiation.

Police also said they found pictures of the crime scene on Davis’ cell phone.
