New first-person video of Felix Baumgartner space jump

The mini camera company GoPro released video of Felix Baumgartner‘s epic space jump from 2012 giving a new perspective for the 24-mile skydive.

Baumgartner, an Austrian daredevil, became the first man to break the sound barrier without mechanical help after his jump from space.

On Friday, GoPro posted new video on YouTube. In the video, you get to ride along with Felix and see things from his perspective.

There were seven GoPro cameras used in the mission including several attached to Baumgartner’s suit.

The description on the video released on YouTube reads in part: “From the airless freeze of outer space, to the record-breaking free fall and momentous return to ground—see it all through Felix’s eyes as captured by GoPro, and experience this incredible mission like never before”
