LAGO VISTA, Texas — Three children have permanent ink on their ankles after their mother allegedly allowed her boyfriend’s brother to give them tattoos.

According to KTBC, the children’s father noticed the tattoos after he picked them up from the woman’s house.

The kids, all younger than 13 years old, got tattoos of an infinity sign, a cross and a heart with an arrow through it.

When asked by police, the children said Ashley Weir, 31, told them to get the tattoos but not to whine or cry. She was also allegedly drunk when she gave consent.

Weir’s boyfriend’s brother, the tattoo artist, is also a registered sex offender, according to the report.

Weir was arrested for tattoos prohibited for certain persons, which is a misdemeanor. She has been arrested in the past for DUI and public intoxication.

The children’s father is now seeking primary custody.
