FAYETTE COUNTY, Ala. — Two drivers killed in a head-on crash in Alabama on Saturday were father and son, according to AL.com.
Jeffrey Brasher, 50, and Austin Brasher, 22, crashed into each other about 4:10 a.m. in Fayette County.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but the report cited Alabama state troopers as saying alcohol was a factor.
Neither of the men was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
Jeffrey Brashner was pronounced dead at the scene. His son was taken to a hospital, but doctors couldn’t save him.
