BOULDER, Colo. (WJW) — The Broomfield-based premier purveyor of perforated shoes is celebrating 20 years in business in October and fans of the company’s foam clog are making out on the deal in hopes of snagging a free pair of shoes.
“Croctober is HERE! We’re coming in hot with a daily drawing for free Crocs! But there’s an entire month to celebrate, so let’s GO!” representatives with Crocs wrote on their website.
From Oct. 1 to Oct. 7, all Croc Club members can enter to win a free pair of Crocs each day. To clarify, this pertains only to the first week of October.
“Check back all month long for surprises, giveaways, deals, and a BIG 20th Anniversary Croc Day Party on Croctober 23rd that will get your FOMO going, so don’t miss it,” representatives of the shoe company said.
In early 2022, the company stepped in to help victims of the Marshall Fire by donating 30,000 sets of Crocs to the Boulder Valley School District, which is enough to provide each student with one pair.
The foam shoe company seemed to benefit from the remote work situation that arose from the COVID-19-induced pandemic. In the first fiscal quarter of 2021, the shares of Croc Shoes jumped 16% making the company $98 million in the process. Compare that to the $11 million they made during the first quarter of 2021.
According to its website, the company has sold hundreds of millions of shoes since it first launched in 2002.
