GOLDEN, Colo.  — Two SUV’s crashed head-on on US 6 at mile marker 268 on Sunday.

Multiple people were taken to the hospital, Colorado State Patrol told FOX31 Denver.

Clear Creek Canyon was closed for just over 30 minutes at both ends.

Officials don’t know the condition of those injured.

This was only one of a few crashes this holiday weekend. There was a fatal single car rollover on Saturday near Pueblo.

Other than that Colorado State Patrol Officers said, it was a fairly safe holiday.
