DENVER — The temperature at Denver International Airport officially dipped to minus-10 degrees early Thursday morning.
It did not set a record, but it was the coldest temperature at the airport since Jan. 4, 2015.
The official low so far this morning for Denver has been -10 F. The record low for this date is -14 F back in 1919. #cowx

There were colder temperatures in many mountain valleys ranging from minus-15 degrees in Steamboat Springs to minus-33 in Tabernash.
A few other lows inlcuded:
- minus-21 in Jefferson
- minus-15 Silverton
- minus-15 in Wolcott
- minus-13 in Telluride
- minus-12 in Breckenridge
- minus-9 in Alamosa
- minus-9 in Lake City
- minus-8 in Snowmass Village
Temperatures will gradually warm into the weekend as a snowier weather pattern organizes.
