DENVER — The temperature at Denver International Airport officially dipped to minus-10 degrees early Thursday morning.

It did not set a record, but it was the coldest temperature at the airport since Jan. 4, 2015.

There were colder temperatures in many mountain valleys ranging from minus-15 degrees in Steamboat Springs to minus-33 in Tabernash.

A few other lows inlcuded:

  • minus-21 in Jefferson
  • minus-15 Silverton
  • minus-15 in Wolcott
  • minus-13 in Telluride
  • minus-12 in Breckenridge
  • minus-9 in Alamosa
  • minus-9 in Lake City
  • minus-8 in Snowmass Village

Temperatures will gradually warm into the weekend as a snowier weather pattern organizes.
