DENVER — Barnett Outdoors is recalling six crossbow models.

The company said the sensor that determines whether the arrow is properly loaded can malfunction.

This can cause the crossbow to fire unexpectedly, which poses a risk to bystanders and the person using the crossbow.

Barnett Outdoors has received one injury report and three reports of units firing unexpectedly.

The crossbows were sold between April and November.

Contact Barnett Outdoors for a free replacement trigger with a nock sensor.
