DENVER — A new study reveals Colorado is doing better than the rest of the country when it comes to getting paid.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Colorado is eleventh in the nation for average pay.

It says the average worker in Colorado made a little more than $47,000 last year.

That’s about $2,000 more than the national average.

Mississippi has the lowest average salary in the country, with workers there making less than $35,000.
