DENVER — Canopy Airport Parking is offering a special discount to first responders, police officers, firefighters and EMT personnel.

The company announced the “Heroes Discount” Monday. It’s worth 20 percent off the price of all parking levels at the facility at Denver International Airport.

“This discount offering is our way of giving back and thanking those people who put their lives at risk every day for the rest of us,” said Lesley Byram, director of sales and marketing for Canopy Airport Parking. “Canopy always strives to give back to our local community, and we felt that we owed it to these everyday heroes to do something special to show our appreciation.”

The discount is the latest benefit under the Canopy Cares charitable outreach program.

A similar discount is offered for members of the military.
