CASTLE PINES, Colo. -- Sheriff's deputies, police and state troopers everywhere are keeping a close watch on drivers in school zones, now that school has started statewide.

Their goal is to make sure everyone stays safe around schools.

Watch your speed, going too fast in a school zone in Douglas County and getting caught can result in a $298 ticket.
