Man’s body found near Colorado Springs elementary school

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body near a Colorado Springs elementary school Thursday.

According to the Gazette, police were called to the area west of Stetson Hills Elementary School at 8 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived at a walking trail in the area, they found the body of a man believed to be in his late 30s, according to the paper.

Police said it appeared the body had been there for some time. The man’s identity has not been released. The paper reports that authorities do not consider the death to be suspicious.
