SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. — A Breckenridge man who allegedly assaulted three young girls on Saturday will face charges of attempted murder, child abuse, kidnapping, burglary, and others.

Sky Wodraska, 37, was arrested about 2 a.m. after police arrived on the scene of an assault at a condominium complex, located at 1258 Baldy Road in unincorporated Summit County. Three female children — two 14-year-olds and one 10-year-old — were suffering from injuries, police said.

One of the 14-year-olds remained in critical condition Monday. The other girls have been released to their parents.

Wodraska’s relationship to the victims was not immediately disclosed. The suspect fled the scene of the assault, deputies said, but was located and taken into custody about 30 minutes later a short distance away from the condo complex, where at least one of the victims in the case was residing. When he was discovered by deputies, Wodraska was suffering from what was described as “self-inflicted injuries.”

Wodraska has an extensive criminal record, which includes felony arrests for sexual assault of a child, intimidating a witness, extortion, drug possession, violation of bail terms as well as misdemeanor arrests for child abuse, harassment, stalking and contempt of court.

Resident Chris Young and his fiancé said they saw one of the victims early Saturday morning.

“She was sitting up,” Young said. “She was just kind of holding the side of her neck. There was a lot of blood. You could tell this morning: There were blood drops everywhere.”
