Police continue search for suspect in fatal Aurora shooting

AURORA, Colo. -- Aurora Police continue to investigate a shooting that killed one person late Thursday night.

Police say officers responded to the shooting in the 1600 block of Alton Street at about 9:30 p.m.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was found in the courtyard of an apartment building suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to University of Colorado Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

No suspects have been arrested in the case.

Aurora Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information on this case to call 303-739-6117 or call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP. Aurora Police are offering up to an additional $3,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
