Man dies after shooting in Englewood on Saturday night

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Officers responding to reports of gunshots found a man who had been shot multiple times, the Englewood Police Department said.

The victim was found in the 3000 block of South Acoma Street a little before 9 p.m., police said. That’s near South Broadway and West Cornell Avenue.

The man was rushed to the hospital, but doctors couldn’t save him.

The only information police released about the victim is that he was 33 years old. His name will be released after family members have been notified, police said.

Investigators did not provide any information about the shooter.
