GEORGETOWN, Colo. — A semitruck caught fire on eastbound Interstate 70 in Georgetown on Wednesday night, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.
The Interstate was closed in both directions while crews worked to put out the fire. The westbound lanes reopened once the flames were extinguished.
Eastbound lanes reopened about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
There was no information available on what happened or if there were any injuries.
Vehicles were being routed onto the off- and on-ramps in Georgetown to get around the closure.
