Man killed in stabbing near East Colfax Avenue in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — A man was killed in a stabbing in Aurora Wednesday night. The Aurora Police Department said the stabbing occurred in the 9800 block of East Colfax Avenue about 8 p.m. The area is just east of Colfax’s intersection with Dayton Street.

The man’s age and name have not yet been released. The Adams County Coroner’s Office will identify him and notify his loved ones.

APD said that while officers were canvassing the area, they found a male who is being questioned about his involvement. He is considered a person of interest. He has not been arrested.
