WELD COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — UPDATE (8:24 p.m.) According to Sgt. Vasquez of the Platteville Police Department, two men died and a woman was critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
Two men in their 20s were heading southbound on U.S. 85 in a 2010 Dodge truck when the driver lost control at approximately 2 a.m., according to PPD. When he tried to overcorrect, the vehicle went into the median and rolled hitting a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by a woman in her 20s heading northbound.
Both men were ejected from the truck and died on scene. The woman is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.
